Self-Love in Practice is the name I give to the way I approach therapy. Here are the key features of this method:
- It’s oriented toward the development of self-love, self-compassion, authenticity, self-expression, self-forgiveness, and self-protection.
- It draws from evidence-based therapies — especially Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and Compassion-Focused Therapy.
It integrates the most effective practices psychology has to offer regarding these themes — carefully compiled for you.
- It has a balance between talking and experiential practices:
Talking provides emotional relief, helps you feel truly heard, organize your thoughts, gain insight, and express yourself — while also helping me get to know you more deeply.
Experiential practices are the most powerful way to build emotional and psychological skills — such as emotional regulation, navigating difficult thoughts, deepening self-awareness, and shifting perspective.
My goal is not only to help you understand self-compassion — but to support you in learning how to actually practice it in your daily life.
